My name is Ursula Matson and I welcome you to Ursula Matson, Barrister & Solicitor which is a law firm that offers you, not only a high level of skill and knowledge due to my many years of experience and positive outcomes (over 26 years), in the areas of Criminal Law, Child Protection Law, and Administrative Law (Reviews of government decisions such as those of Department for Child Protection (DCP) and cancellation of visas/citizenship on character grounds), but also unique aspects of my personal character that make communication with my clients, very effective and their experience of the law, far less stressful. I care about how your legal matter and ordeal is affecting you and empathise so you feel supported in every way and you can relinquish control of your matter to me without the need to seek constant reassurance. I was a Judge's Associate prior to practising law and after Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at Adelaide University. I speak German and I spent a year in Germany where I was an exchange student in the Faculty of Law at the University of Heidelberg. I have had a wide array of other life time experiences including in visual art, music, dance and the dramatic arts.
